Enabling the Integration
- Log into your Vervoe account and navigate to Account Settings > Integrations.
- From the left-hand menu, select SmartRecruiters, then toggle on Enable SmartRecruiters Integration.
- A sentence will appear below the toggle with a link — click it to authorise the integration in SmartRecruiters.
Authorising in SmartRecruiters
Once redirected to SmartRecruiters, click on your profile avatar and select Settings / Admin.
Under Administration Settings, go to Apps & Integrations.
Scroll through the list, locate Vervoe Integration, and click Connect.
A confirmation screen will appear outlining the data shared between platforms. Click Allow and Continue.
You’ll be prompted to log in to your Vervoe account — use your Vervoe credentials.
After logging in, confirm data sharing by clicking Allow and Continue.
You’ll be redirected back to SmartRecruiters where the integration status will display as Connected.
Integration Workflow
All active assessments in your Vervoe account will sync to SmartRecruiters. You can invite candidates to assessments in two ways: manually or automatically.
Manually Inviting Candidates
Open a candidate profile in SmartRecruiters.
In the right-hand menu, find the Assessment panel and click Browse.
Choose Vervoe as the assessment partner from the dropdown.
Select the assessment you want to send.
The candidate will receive the assessment invite via email.
Automatically Inviting Candidates
Navigate to Settings / Admin in SmartRecruiters.
Scroll to Configuration and select Hiring Process.
Choose the stage where you'd like the assessment to trigger.
Click Assessments, then Configure, and select the appropriate Vervoe assessment.
Enable the Auto-trigger toggle and save.
For the assessment to send, the candidate must be moved to the designated Vervoe stage after being converted from a lead.
Viewing Assessment Results
Candidate statuses in SmartRecruiters update automatically:
- Pending (grey): Candidate has been invited.
- In Progress (yellow): Candidate is completing the assessment.
- Completed (green): Assessment finished.
- Rejected (red): Candidate rejected.
- Expired (pink): Due date passed without completion.
Assessment Scores
- The overall score is displayed as
X/100, along with skill names and individual skill scores. - Skills graded by AI show as low, medium, or high.
- Fully autograded skills display a numerical score.
- Click the paperclip icon to open the full candidate report card.
Note: SmartRecruiters users do not need a Vervoe login to view the report card. The integration enables access for all users automatically.
Repeat Assessments
If a candidate retakes the same assessment, their AI score will only update if the new result differs by at least 2%.
