The Text Question type includes a textbox for candidates to write their answers.
- To include a text question in your assessment, head to the 'create' tab and assessment builder and choose the text question type.
2. Write the question in the textbox provided.
You also have the option to add media to the question. For example, you could include audio for the candidate to listen to, a screenshot of an email or website, or a video for them to watch.
Additionally, rich text editing including bullet points, numbering, indent, bold, italics and underling can be included to your question.
3. Next, you will need to include correct answer samples for the question.
Including correct answer samples helps the AI understand what a 'good' answer looks like. This answer should be written as you would expect candidates to respond. They are not scoring instructions.
You can add multiple examples of the correct answer if there are variations that could be correct.
4. Ensure the skill this question is testing is correct.
If you'd like to change the skill you can click the drop down box which will enable you to change the skill to an alternative one that is already in the assessment.
To add a new skill, head to 'skill groups' in settings.
