Vervoe’s Sales Simulations are designed to help you identify top sales talent by replicating real-world sales scenarios. Candidates engage in a range of tasks, including pitching, presenting, objection handling, and closing across multiple communication channels (email, phone, video, and documents) within an immersive CRM environment. The best part? Prospect details and use case scenarios are always unique, ensuring that the experience covers all key skills in a sales funnel.
Sales Simulations in the Assessment Library
To access pre-made assessments featuring the Sales Simulation, head to the Assessment Library tab on your dashboard. The library has been redesigned for easier navigation, with a filter for the Simulation question type and an icon highlighting simulations on each assessment card.
We've tailored simulations for three different sales roles across the funnel:
-
Sales Development Representative (SDR): Reach out to new leads, qualify them, and move them through the sales funnel.
-
Account Executive (AE): Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
-
Account Manager (AM): Manage client relationships and generate sales from an existing portfolio.
Adding a Sales Simulation Question to Custom Assessments
For Starter or Enterprise plan users, you can add a Sales Simulation as a question type to any custom assessment. In the creation stage, select Simulations from the question type dropdown, and choose from options like Sales Simulation V1. By default, candidates have 1 hour to complete the simulation.
Note: In V1, the preview will play a generic video but won't be interactive.
Candidate Experience
The simulation immerses candidates in a live CRM environment using a scheduling tool called ACMi (similar to Calendly). Candidates will have access to materials such as company data, product information, and customer profiles, but they’ll need to apply their sales skills to complete the tasks.
The CRM interface features:
- Left panel: Prospect list and activity feed.
- Centre panel: Workspace to respond to tasks.
- Right panel: Task details and knowledge base (company, product, pricing).
Tasks cannot be skipped or edited once submitted, reflecting real-world sales processes.
Grading and Candidate Report Card
Simulations are automatically graded based on candidate responses and the expected actions for each task. The Candidate Report Card includes detailed subskills for each task and an overall assessment. For AI-graded tasks, scores can also be manually adjusted.
