Once you have completely set up your assessment, it is now time to invite candidates to showcase their abilities! To share your assessment, take a look at the details outlined below.
How do I invite candidates to my assessment?
Before diving into the different ways to invite candidates, please note that you can do so either from your Assessment Dashboard (click the ellipsis menu on the assessment and select "Invite Candidate"), or you can click into the assessment and navigate to the "Invite" tab.
Share a link to your assessment
You can create shareable links to your assessment under the Share link tab located on the left side panel.
The first link listed is a unique link to your assessment that you can post anywhere you like. Just keep in mind that this particular link will not be tracked.
You can create unique links to your assessment that you can post to social media, your career page, or job boards for free. Post these links in different locations and track where you are getting the most candidates to apply.
You also have the option to post directly to LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter. Once you select the social network that you would like to post on, a new tab will open displaying a preview of the post and prompting you to login into that social media account.
For complete instructions, please visit this page here.
This is the recommended method if you are posting to free job boards like Indeed or AngelList.
Invite candidates via email
This option allows you to send email invitations to candidates you may already know.
Under the Email Invitation tab, you will see the ability to insert the names and email addresses of the candidates or you can upload a CSV file. ( for the CSV file make sure the header titles are as follows: Column A header titled "name", column B header titled "email".)
You are also able to preview and customize the email that will be sent to candidates by selecting, "Preview Invitation Email".
Candidate Management Section
The Invite home screen shows a list of all invited candidates in the assessment along with their source (email or link) and completion status (invited, expired, requested more time, etc). Additionally:
- Deadline extension requests will be visible and actionable here
- Tags can be added to candidates
- Candidates can also be rejected at this stage
The Invite settings tab is the home of the candidate experience, which includes:
- Instructions to candidates, welcome video (for job link page), edit and preview of email content
- Settings for rejection emails, equipment check, and candidate profile page
- Customize email invitation button
