Adding Screening Questions
Screening questions can be added to an assessment via the Create Editor. The left-hand question panel contains the blank + Screener which initiates the process.
Once this is clicked, the screening questions section will open, and you can select questions from Suggested → one of 8 predefined screening questions via suggested. These questions are as follows:
The default responses of these suggested questions can be amended to suit your requirements.
You also have the ability to create your own screening questions by selecting the "create" option and adding your own questions and responses.
By default we’ll show 2 empty fields for screening questions however, you can edit further by adding additional response options and setting the grading.
These questions can be Single or Multiple Choice, with pass
or fail
as the scoring output. If a candidate fails these questions, they will not be progressed to the skills assessment.
Note: These question should be reserved for non-negotiable requirements for the role.
If you would like to enable multiple answer options in a multiple-choice format, that are not pass/pass, you can toggle the "enable multiple correct answers" button on.
These questions should be used to collect information only like availability or location preference etc.
Candidate Experience of Screening Questions
Candidates who have screening questions will be presented with them first before they can start the assessment. The screening questions are mandatory and cannot be skipped however assessment timers won’t start until the candidate passes the screener and starts the assessment.
