Providing feedback on assessment results empowers candidates with valuable insights into their performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. It also offers transparency into decision-making processes.
You have several options for sharing feedback with candidates once they’ve completed an assessment.
Sending Feedback to Candidates
To send feedback to candidates, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Settings tab in the top-right corner of your assessment.
- Scroll down to Candidate Communication.
- Toggle Send Feedback on.
- Choose one of the following feedback timing options:
-
- When the assessment is closed: Feedback will be sent to all candidates at the same time.
- Within a set timeframe: Feedback can be sent between 3 to 30 days after the last candidate completes the assessment. For example, if the timer is set for 3 days and a candidate completes after 2 days, the timer will reset, and feedback will be sent after 3 days of no completions.
Managing Feedback
You can customise the feedback candidates receive:
- With Ranking: Candidates will see their overall score, scores for each skill, and how they ranked compared to others.
- Without Ranking: Feedback will show only individual skill scores, excluding the ranking and any related text.
To manage this, go to the Assessment Settings and toggle the options as desired.
Candidate Experience
When feedback is sent, candidates will receive an email with a PDF containing their results. They can review a bell curve that shows how they performed across each skill (low, medium, or high) and download the feedback for future reference.
Sending Feedback to Individual Candidates
You can also send feedback to individual candidates without sending it to everyone. To do this, go to the Select Tab with completed candidate results or within the candidate card to send feedback directly.
Important Considerations
- AI Calculations: Allow at least 3 days for AI calculations to settle before sending feedback, as candidate skills or ranks may change slightly.
- Rank Confidentiality: You can choose to exclude the candidate's rank from their feedback.
- Feedback Status: The Feedback Sent icon provides a visual confirmation once feedback has been processed.
- Admin Control: Candidate feedback is off by default. Admins must enable this feature before feedback can be sent.
