Once candidates complete an assessment, you’ll see a Candidate Card for each applicant. This provides a snapshot of how they performed and helps you quickly identify top talent based on the skills that matter most for the role. Here’s how to understand what you’re seeing:
Overall Score
The overall score (e.g. 79%) reflects the candidate’s total performance across all skills tested in the assessment. This is calculated using our machine learning models and/or your manual grading (if applied), depending on your settings.
The candidate card shown here has been graded by a human (SG) - hence "my score"
Rank
The rank shows how this candidate performed relative to others who have completed the same assessment.
-
For example, a rank of 3 / 6 means the candidate placed third out of six candidates assessed.
-
This is a useful way to benchmark candidates quickly without having to manually compare each response.
Skill Scores
Each assessment is made up of questions that test specific skills (e.g. Communication, Attention to Detail, KPI Management).
For each skill:
- You’ll see a score bar showing their performance.
- The colour reflects their performance level:
-
- Green (80–100%) – Strong performance
- Orange (40–79%) – Moderate performance
- Red (0–39%) – Low performance
-
This allows you to assess how well a candidate performed in the key skill areas relevant to the role.
Top Performer Awards
If a candidate is one of the top three performers in a skill area (compared to others who have completed the assessment), they’ll be marked with a trophy icon:
- 🥇 1st place
- 🥈 2nd place
- 🥉 3rd place
This helps you quickly identify where a candidate has outperformed their peers in specific competencies.
Additional Notes
- These results are designed to help you make informed, skills-based hiring decisions—not to replace your judgment.
- You can dive deeper into each candidate’s responses if you’d like to see how they approached each task.
