Test candidate's typing ability as a question-type in Vervoe.
How does the Typing Test work?
The Typing Test is available as a question type for all plans (including the free trial and Appsumos)! It can be added to an assessment from within the "Create" editor. The test comes with the preconfigured copy for both English and Spanish. The version you access depends on your account level language settings.
Once the candidate reaches the typing test question and begins their first keystroke, a 2-minute timer will begin. The test is locked at 2 minutes to complete and cannot be edited. As the candidate types, the incorrect text will highlight in red, as shown below:
Candidates are given two chances to complete the test and their best score is submitted as part of their final assessment. The candidate will also receive instant feedback on their score within the assessment.
The test does not support auto-correct, spelling, and grammar suggestions and can only be completed on a desktop.
Grading Grid
The WPM score is benchmarked and given a Vervoe point score between 1 and 10 with 1 being poor and 10 being excellent. This score is shown on the candidate’s report card along with their WPM, accuracy and adjusted score.
