Whether you use assistive technology, identify as neurodivergent, or come from a diverse background, Vervoe is designed to help you succeed—so you can show what you’re truly capable of.
We believe everyone deserves a fair chance to shine. In fact, many candidates have told us, “Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to show what I can do.”
Our assessments are built to reduce bias and level the playing field—so your skills, not your background, are what stand out.
Accessibility Support
Our assessments are built to be inclusive by default. This means:
-
Compatible with assistive tech: Vervoe works with most screen readers, keyboard navigation tools, and speech-to-text software.
-
No need to roleplay: Questions focus on real-world, job-related tasks—not abstract scenarios or behavioral questions.
-
Employers only see your skills: When you complete a Vervoe assessment, employers don’t see your age, gender, race, educational background, or work history. They see how you perform on the job-relevant tasks—that’s it.
Example questions:
Depending on the role you are applying for, you will be asked to complete tasks that you could do if you were successful in securing the role. For example, you might be asked to write an email reply to a customer, or input data into a spreadsheet.
If Your Assessment Has Timers
Some employers might use timers on their assessments. If you'd like to request additional time or an assessment without a timer, please contact the employer directly. However, most assessments use timers sparingly to ensure you have enough time to answer the questions.
Tips to Set Yourself Up for Success
-
Choose a quiet space where you can focus without interruption.
-
Use a supported browser—Google Chrome is recommended—and make sure your device is up to date.
-
Take your time (unless a timer is active), and review your answers before submitting.
-
Test your setup—you’ll have the chance to check your camera and microphone if the assessment includes video or audio.
- Don't stress:The questions aren’t designed to trick you. They reflect the kinds of tasks you'd be doing in the role, so there’s no need to prepare or practice. Just complete the tasks to the best of your ability—even if you're not 100% sure. Sometimes, giving it a go and trying is exactly what the employer is looking for.
Designed to Reduce Bias
None of your personal characteristics—like your background, education, gender, ethnicity, or disability status—will impact how your assessment is scored.
-
No resumes involved: Vervoe does not assess your resume, only the skills you demonstrate through the assessment that the employer has invited you to.
-
AI can’t “see” who you are: grading is based solely on your written content, including written and audio answers.
-
Employers still make the final decision: Vervoe’s AI simply ensures your answers are reviewed fairly, without unconscious bias however, Vervoe does not make decisions for the employer.
