Candidate tagging allows you to create up to 20 unique tags within your account. You can customise the text of each tag to help track candidate progress throughout the hiring and selection process. Tags are a simple way to organise candidates — for example, by stage of recruitment, or by identifying the recruiter managing them.
Note: Tags are applied at the assessment level. Tags assigned to candidates in one assessment will not carry across to other assessments.
How to Tag Candidates
To use candidate tagging:
- Navigate to the Select tab of your assessment.
- Click the tag icon next to the candidate’s name.
You will be prompted to create a new tag or select from existing tags. Once a new tag is created, it will automatically be available for future use and assigned to the candidate. You can add multiple tags to a candidate by clicking the "+" next to any additional tags.
After tagging candidates, you can filter your view using the All Candidates drop-down menu. Simply tick the box next to a tag to display only candidates with that tag.
Managing Candidate Tags
To manage your candidate tags:
- Click the settings icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
- Select Company Account from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page where you can:

- Create new tags
- Rename existing tags
- Delete tags no longer in use
You can maintain up to 20 tags in your account at any one time.
Tag rules: Tag names must contain at least 1 character and no more than 150 characters.
