Vervoe’s skills assessments give every candidate the opportunity to showcase their skills, in the context of the role.
A skills assessment is a pre-employment assessment that mimics the real responsibilities and duties you will be expected to perform in the role. The skills assessment will take you through a day in the life of the position to assess a range of technical and soft skills that align with the job’s requirements.
Throughout the assessment, you will be asked a series of questions across a range of question types such as multiple choice, text, audio, video, Google sheets, docs and slides, code challenges, chat, and typing simulations.
Each question will put you into a scenario that you will likely face in the role. Below is an example of a question you may be asked if you were working as a Customer Service Agent within a contact center where you are required to send follow-up emails to customers after a call. This question is designed to assess your written communication skills.
Is Vervoe a video interviewing platform?
Vervoe is not a video interview platform, we are a skills assessment platform. Meaning, there may be 1 or 2 question types that require a video response, but the majority of the questions are usually mixed (refer to question types above).
How does Vervoe differ from psychometric assessments?
Studies show that personality traits aren’t predictive of on-the-job performance. For this reason, you won’t be asked 50 questions to identify whether you’re a type A or B personality. You will be assessed on your ability to complete tasks, related to the role you applied for.
