Under each question in an assessment, you'll find an option to include scoring instructions.
Scoring instructions are a useful tool for ensuring a standardized approach to grading across different team members. By providing clear guidelines, your team can consistently evaluate assessments and maintain fairness.
With the rich text editor, you can easily add instructions that outline what a 0/10 to 10/10 answer looks like. This helps ensure everyone grading has the same understanding of what constitutes a perfect response and what areas to look for when awarding points.
How are scoring instructions displayed?
When you are grading a candidate, the scoring instructions are displayed underneath the individual question if you are reviewing one candidate at a time:
or if you are grading through the AI grading portal the scoring instructions can be found on the right-hand side panel:
Please Note:
Scoring instructions are not considered when machine learning grades a candidate's response. These instructions are intended solely as guidelines for your team to ensure consistent and standardized grading. They serve as notes to help your team assess responses manually, but they do not impact the score.
