Customizing Assessments in Different Languages

Vervoe’s skills assessments are fully customizable and support a wide range of languages, making it accessible to customers around the globe. Our platform enables users to create assessments and interact with candidates in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Japanese, German, Italian, and more.

Flexible Language Options for Questions and Answers: You can write questions, sample answers, and candidate emails in any language. Our AI models are trained on a ‘per answer’ basis, meaning answers to a particular question must be in the same language as the question itself. However, different questions within the same assessment can be written in different languages. For instance, in an assessment testing both Spanish and English, some questions can be answered in Spanish, while others in English.
No Restrictions on Question Language: The language of the question itself is irrelevant to the system. You have full control over the language used in each part of the assessment, making it fully adaptable to your needs.

Platform Language Settings

Supported Interface Languages: Within the Vervoe app, you can choose between English or Spanish for the candidate experience. This will update all candidate-facing elements, such as emails, buttons, and hardcoded text, to your selected language.
Embedded Features in English: While you can customize many elements, embedded features such as buttons are currently not customizable in other languages and will remain in English.

Training and Customizing AI for Different Languages

Active Learning Interface: Vervoe uses an active learning interface that allows your team to train and personalize the AI based on the qualities and answers that matter most to your organization. Please note that right-to-left languages (such as Arabic or Hebrew) may require extra attention during grading, as the AI models have been predominantly trained on left-to-right text.

How to Translate Assessments

Manual Translations: Customers have the option to manually translate their assessments or use a professional translation service to ensure accuracy. This allows for contextual translations that resonate with candidates in different languages, such as Spanish, helping to improve brand engagement and completion rates.

Localization Available in Spanish

Localization is available in Spanish for our customers. The setting to activate this is found under account settings in the candidate display language section, and it is available to all customer plans across both ATS and AF.

Once activated, all candidate-facing content will be updated to Spanish, including emails, subject lines, and assessment content. Key emails affected are outlined below.

Global Reach and Customization Flexibility

Vervoe's skills assessments and all candidate emails are fully customizable. We have customers all over the world, and skills assessments have been completed in many languages, including Chinese for companies like Uber.

While you can customize many elements of the platform, embedded features like buttons are currently in English and are not customizable in other languages.

Future Roadmap: We’re committed to improving the platform’s language capabilities, and localization for other languages is something we have added to our roadmap. However, we cannot guarantee or commit to a specific timeframe for these updates.
